Founded in 2003 by famed Texas-based street artist; FAILUREone, TDBP was originally a small artist collective in Houston. It has over the years acted as a creative agency, fine-art press, and sometimes as a gallery/retail space in Austin,Tx run by PureFilth creator; Mr.Glass along with fellow artists; Chris Martin and Antonio Diaz.
TheDeadBirdProject Online shop came out of the desire to bring together the high-end products we and our friends were making, and showcase them to the masses via Tumblr blog and allow them to be available for purchase online.
TheDeadBird Project is also the only outlet for copies of PUREFILTH that contain the free gifts promoted with the issue.
